Sifu Christopher Hart started learning Wudang Longmen Kung fu and Internal Arts with Master Xiao Ling Liu in 2005. During this time Master Liu taught him the basics in Xing Yi, Ba Gua, Liu He Ba Fa, Wudang Tai Chi, Xin Yi Liu He and Tong Bei. In 2012 Master Liu accepted him as an Official Disciple of the Wudang Longmen, 19th Generation. Master Liu continued to instruct and mentor Sifu Hart in the intricacies of the internal arts and Nei Gong while expanding his skills with weapons and functional applications to include Push Hands, Chin Na and Shuai Jiao. Master Liu has provided Sifu Hart with a solid understanding and base that has proven effective in several competitions, sparring, and push hand events. In 2015, Sifu Hart was also among the first U.S. Wudang Longmen to receive their 4th Duan, Master certification, from the Chinese Wushu Association located Beijing, China; the official governing body for Chinese Martial Arts within mainland China.
Sifu Hart looks to continue Master Liu’s legacy of understanding and spreading traditional Chinese Martial Arts; helping individuals achieve their personal goals in health, awareness, self-confidence, and self-defense. Through hard work and discipline Sifu Hart looks forward to continuing Wudang Longmen Kung Fu and Neijia Arts while promoting Kung Fu in a positive light within the U.S. and abroad.
